Service Description

This package is for those people who hold a LEI and covers the following; - Advice on getting a second opinion and the processes involved in doing so. (This does not the second opinion itself, for this, please book at the standard opinion package). - Pre or post opinion review/advice on the terms and conditions of the LEI. - Liaison with the insurer by way of correspondence to clarify terms of instruction. - Advice to you on the meaning of the terms and conditions in the policy/schedule and any potential cost consequences. - All other matters. Please note, liaison with the insurers can take time in order to understand their terms of appointment as it does not mean their terms of appointment will be acceptable to all lawyers. For example, you will need to be fully aware of the impact upon you, should your insurer not pay at any stage, or if they only cover partial costs. All of these scenarios are covered under this package by carefully reviewing the terms and conditions of your policy and advising you upon them. The two hours covers the all of the above, however, if everything is not covered in the two hours, you will be expected to buy a further package. For example, if two hours are used up covering the above and emails are drafted to your insurer and we await a response, you will be expected buy a new package to review their response and advise you accordingly. You will be responsible in claiming the costs for this package from your insurer if they are covered. Please do not assume your insurer will cover these costs as we cannot liaise with them until instructed under this package.
